"Great place with a great view"

"The front desk man was very helpful and kind. The room was lovely, there was yogurt, cheese and mandarins in the fridge in the room, and muffins were also provided, it was nice to be able to lounge in the room instead of going downstairs. The two-person tub was a bonus as well. Nice, quiet and close to everything."

"This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. So our hope was...

"The room was clean, and the staff were extremely nice and polite. The location of this motel is interesting as you can either stay in Cowichan, or go to Victoria and Nanaimo daily. "

"We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here."

"Stay is good. Rooms are lovely and with a good view. Restaurants close really early around 7:30 pm, not ideal as there are not much options to eat nearby either. Plus only one restaurant was open and didn’t have a lot of options. Staff is courteous. Property is beautiful, but one of the pools wasn’t open yet. "

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"Small town, older motel. It had what we needed but it may not work for everyone. Spent one night before flying out. Might be wise to stay closer to the international airport as the highways can be congested. "

"A very well enjoyed stay here! The building is brand new and in such a convenient spot near the ferry and airport, plus only about 30 minutes from downtown Victoria. There’s a huge free parking lot too, which already felt like a win before even checking in. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. Everyone greeted guests so kindly with warm voices and genuinely friendly energy. It honestly felt like they were happy you were there, which makes such a difference. "

"Great suite. Kitchen was great. Super comfy bed. The view was beautiful Hot tub jets were broken and two of us developed a mild rash from it. I will be returning and am very happy."
