"We arrived at 10.30am, dropped our bags and went out the receptionist was moody with no smile. Came back around 10.30pm where we got given 2 single bed room. We booked a deluxe room as we were celebrating a birthday and we requested this on booking. Not even a happy birthday on arrival. As we were so tired we settled in, only to find a bug on the bed with hairs. We rang up, nothing was done. The receptionist did not listen and in fact hung up the phone. There was no iron, ironing board or slippers. We were told to go downstairs to collect!!! After my husband went down he agreed to change the room however NO LIFT goes there so had to pack everything up and move rooms. The room was bigger but didnt feel deluxe but as were super tired we took this room. I cant believe they did this as we were only there for 2 nights celebrating a birthday. This didnt feel special thanks to this hotel. Also water and coffee is only given on the 1st day. On check out no questions were asked on our stay. I wouldnt stay here again or recommend the hotel. "
"Check in was easy. Really friendly staff at reception.
Very clean and quiet room. Great to be able to open the window.
Comfortable bed with choice of soft and firm pillows. There were just 2 pillows on the bed. Maybe they supply 4 when 2 people stay.
Good storage area. Extra bath and hand towels can be found there.
Fully equipped kitchen: fridge, microwave, kettle, plates and cutlery. Odd that there was only one tiny cereal bowl.
My only issue is that the cupboards for pots and pans, large bowl and colandar are only accessible if you are a 7ft giant! I had to stand on a chair (no shoes) to reach the colandar.
Might be an idea to add air con instructions to the online hub. Would also be good if housekeeping can check that previous occupants have not switched off the air con and the microwave in the fuse box. Instructions would be great for the iron in the laundry room as it's not a regular iron.
There's a Leonidas shop next door to the hotel plus a Carrefour express attached to the hospital across from the hotel. There's also a cafe plus a shop selling takeaway food, cakes and gifts at the entrance of the hospital.
Transport is great with Delta metro around 10 minutes walk away and bus stops nearby.
Although the immediate area is surrounded by office blocks, there is a lively area with bars, restaurants and shops including a Carrefour supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away. "
"24/7 front desk which helped a lot. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was a bit far from the central train station, but you can easily uber to city centre about 10 minutes."
"Good location near to transport hubs and lots of nice restaurants and cafe to enjoy.
Room was spacious and well equipped. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.
Less impressed with house keeping and the cleaning of the room. On arrival there were hairs in the shower drain suggesting it had not been cleaned properly. On second day room was not cleaned at all and we had to go to reception. On check out day house keeping were knocking on our door before we were awake. Surely they should know if you have checked out or not."
"The room was clean and it indeed fits 3 people with having 2 persons on the big bed in the middle.
Most of the staff speak English and were very kind and helpful.
It's only 30 minutes away by train from Brussels central which is the most important area in Brussels."
"It's about 30 min walk from the main square however it's very clean & quiet. Apart from the fire alarm going off during the night however they were getting work done so understandable. A staff member was at our door quickly to confirm all was ok so back to sleep quickly without stress. Any query we made, the staff were friendly and helpful.
The area around the hotel has nice shops, lovely places for brunch & a lovely deli to take food/drinks to your room. "
"Very good hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy.
Going out of the airport was a pain as it's fully surrounded by a fence, so shuttle or taxi is needed to get to the hotel"
