My room was fumigated without prior notice so when I came back that Night my Door was slightly open, needless to say I was surprised and escarde to find my Door unlock. "Metro Hotel is a delightful find! The decor in the main areas and the rooms is whimsical and fun, the staff are polite and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable. I had four great nights here and am going back again in April. It's a great find in Petaluma!"

"LOCATION, lLOCATION, LOCATION! We stayed here for the convenience of the location closest to tourist attractions and transportation. The complimentary breakfast is complete with hot and cold items, juice and fruits. The beds were so comfy too! The pool was too cold for winter. Will recommend to stay here. "

"I felt very unsafe when walking in the vecinity of the hotel, countless homeless individuals doing drugs. No one told me that housekeeping would come only every other day, and even so they just came once in 5 days. No AC which made it unbearable, and the windows would open just a few inches. The noise caused by the unruly unhoused, coming from the street day and night was dreadful. I left one night earlier than expected to a better hotel."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the convenient early and late opening hours. However, my son was bitten multiple times on his arms, back, and legs by a large insect or mosquito. Despite moving our room, the damage was already done. They requested that I send pictures to the manager, but I never received a response. I wish they had done more to put me at ease, but overall, I had a pleasant stay with a hot shower and a super comfortable bed. "

"Our stay was great! Our room was clean, the staff was SO friendly and accommodating which truly made our entire stay. We appreciated that so so much. They gave us recs of things to do/where to eat and were so helpful when we needed to extend our room stay an extra night. Close to many things we did in the city and felt safe since we needed our key cards to get into the lobby! Would not mind staying here again!"

"The pool and hot tub are heated, clean and very nice. The room was bare-boned, with no microwave and the cheapest coffee maker possible. There was peeling paint in the shower area, and the place needs updating for the price I paid. It looks like they just keep painting over old walls without updating. It was pretty quiet there, which was very nice, and the location is very good and feels safe. There were zero instructions in the room for internet, and zero given when registering for the lodge...

"The staff very welcoming! The place is clean and tidy, just dated but to be expected with a place that's been there for so long. It had everything we needed for our stay with our 2 young children. It's a awesome little vibe with beautiful flowers growing all around, we stayed in one of rooms further back from Lombard street, we felt safe and it was quiet. Great location to explore San Francisco- we'd definitely stay again "
