"The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Beds were not the most comfortable and amenities were an additional cost. The photos of the pool/ other areas around the property on here are not very accurate."

"Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer."

"We stayed in the Home Away From Home for 2 nights as a couple. Communication with the landlord before our arrival was perfect, although the lady who was expecting us onsite to give us the key sopke almost no English. The place is exactly as shown on pictures, absolutely clean, kitched well equipped for basic meal preparation. The house is in a quiet area and have a nice balcony to relax and have meals there. I can highly recommend the place."

"Where to start. I came for 1 day and i stayed for 4. Really enjoyed my stay! The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Thank you Jana and Leon for helping me plan, making my life easier by checking early, storing my backpack while i was hiking in the mountains and for the chats. The hostel is very clean, beds very comfortable, lovely working kitchen that opens up to the dining area where you can hang out with other travelers. Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. "

"This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. "The hotel was not a good fit for us. It was clean, room and balcony were spacious, the staff was polite, and the view from our balcony was truly spectacular. But it’s on the quiet side of the lake, had an extremely limited restaurant menu (one page total with plenty of white space) the bathtub is poorly configured and the place personified faded beauty. Think late Victorian chic. To be fair, I noticed there were returning customers as we checked in, so lots of people must be satisfied. Other...

"I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. We walked around the hotel...
