"Good: Comfortable bed, helpful and kind staff, all advertised amenities and more (a plug converter), good signage, close to shops. Not that good: The sprayers of the soap and shampoo bottles were too tight, not suitable for those liquids. The room smells humid when no air-conditioning, location is far from jetties, but as Male is a small island, it's not that big of a deal."

"Really liked our stay at Star Shell. The staff are excellent and super helpful. We were travelling with two young kids and honestly their service and friendliness really made our trip so much easier. We were always helped with our luggage without asking and with no expectation of a tip. I would highly recommend using theit airport service. "Clean, efficient hotel. Mini bar and hair dryer in the rooms. Rooms are kind of romantic. So so shower pressure and temperature. Almost no toiletries. Nice wood work. Cafe in front of the lobby. Restaurant on the top floor. The full board menu is much smaller than the full menu. Very friendly staff."
