"Such a convenient location for a hotel would make one think it would be exclusively priced, but I found the accommodations to be reasonably priced. The location was extremely close to the excursion I had scheduled in La Crosse, and I was aware that it was positioned to be the hotel of choice for big events in the city. The premises were well updated and impeccably clean. I enjoyed the hot tub and observed many people making use of the heated pool. Although I traveled this time without my pets, I...

"This was a very clean place. Seems to be getting updated in the rooms. Too bad paint seemed splattered in our bathroom so the floor looked dirty. Otherwise nice place for a night. The beachfront looked nice! Hot tub was nice, but the pool deck looks like it needs some updating. Otherwise nice stay! Nice location. Breakfast was ok."

"Angry, rude clerk. Wouldn't allow my stay because I lived within a certain radius. I understand this policy, but I was ridiculed for being homeless by the desk clerk who asked very personal questions so he could continue to throw out disparaging comments and criticize the U.S. Perhaps he should move back to his own country."

"It was horrible abuse. I have stayed in many Quality Inns and almost none cheat me. But this one jacked up the deposit so high, that I was refused a room AFTER I PAID FOR IT.
I also had trouble getting Expedia to help me (I usually do not). And I was on the phone having trouble with BOTH this hotel AND Expedia for hours.
This was the beginning of actual physical and emotional abuse for me in Lacrosse.
I would advise people not to come to Wisconsin, period. It's awful"
