This strange formation is known as the King of Wings. Its location has been a well kept secret for a long time and is still hard to find. I want to keep it that way and will not provide the GPS coordinates of this gem. It is located somewhere in the Ah Shi Sle Pah. This photo was taken a couple minutes after sunset. #GreatOutdoors #Nature
Found some of the most incredible pieces of petrified wood while hiking around the De Na Zin Wilderness area in New Mexico.
About an hour outside of Farmington, NM, the Bisti Wilderness is truly a unique experience. It's like the Badlands came to the SW of the US, just getting all the more bizarre in the move. You will literally feel like you are on a different planet as you hike around the park. #hiking

We thought this was a nice place to spend a night while traveling through north New Mexico. Very low key, nothing fancy, but nice beds in the room with basic amenities, dual sink outside of the bathroom was nice for our family, and a few simple breakfast choices in the morning.
