"The Alpen Chalets were very good - clean, lot of space for 3 adults. Service was great in the Restaurant Senger and the food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner in Restaurant Senger for nearly 5 days and we liked the food. Spa with massages is also very good. In general excellent experience. This was our 3rd visit during Christmas times and we like it here."

This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them. "I would never stay in this hotel again. 1) When you arrive at Hotel Kolbergarten, it looks like it is closed -- no lights on, no signs of life. 2) After you wander around for a few minutes, you find a small sign that says you have to check in for your hotel at a different hotel. 3) Once you figure out where this other hotel is and how to get there, you have to deal with them taking (and keeping) all sorts of unnecessary personal information.... after waiting 20 minutes to be helped. 4) Once you pay your "tourist tax", you have to make your way back to the dark hotel. 5) ... that is unless you have to park a car, which requires you to find and park in a public lot. 6) When you checkout, the staff are overwhelmed, which means you again have to wait for 20 minutes to be helped or you just leave a key at the front desk and hope for the best. On the plus side, the breakfast was good... but it too is in the other hotel."
