This is a beautiful hotel that has been updated but retains its vintage charm. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are well-appointed. I would not want to stay anywhere else on Block Island.

We try to celebrate our anniversary on Block Island every August with at least a toast or dinner at Spring House and a stay on occasion..for # 42 we have a charming ocean view room and had dinner in The Barn for first time. Very impressed w staff at both- & shout out to beautiful Armonique who was everywhere making sure everything perfect at reception then at Barn during dinner. A special place indeed ...Thank you, all!

The hotel is gorgeous and the best part is probably sitting on the lawn Adirondack chair taking in the amazing view. The only complaint was that due to a wedding, the dining room and bar were unavailable to us. I would prefer to stay there when there is no wedding. I would have liked to try the restaurant. Everything else was lovely.

The stay was good,the room was comfortable and updated. The staff at dinner was nice and polite. But the only think that we didn't like was the the employee at the front desk at checkout he was rode and on the personal phone didn't greet us or ask us how was our stay.he was bother when i ask him for a recipe. Didnt say by ether.very very rode. And their was a girl too my husband ask her when was the last checkout and she gave a rode respond. Otherwise the view was beautiful
