"The room was old and filthy- floors hadn’t been swept or mopped, strange sticky stuff all over them- pretty gross. The blankets were paper thin. It was a super hot night and the AC didn’t work well enough. Super run down and still over $200 to stay with two dogs. Insane."

"Woman at the front desk possibly the owner was absolutely amazing. We got there a bit early and without questions she gave us the keys to our room. She was so friendly. The place was clean and appeared to be extremely modern and newly renovated. The location could not be better we walked everywhere. I will be returning and staying here again."

I was given no evidence, no proof, and no opportunity to properly dispute the claim. I was absolutely not responsible for the damage, yet I was treated as if I was guilty by default. "The room was clean and cozy. We visited in summer months so we did not need the fireplace but it did make the room feel very cozy - we enjoyed the cookies at check in as well as the coffee and tea bar in the room. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the property was well maintained. Will stay again when in Tahoe"
