"I checked in just before 8:00 PM during a 33-hour road trip with the goal of getting a full night of rest.
At approximately 3:00 AM, I was awakened by a rat in my room. It was eating my dog’s food and stuffing the food inside my shoes next to the bed. This was a serious sanitation and safety issue, not a minor inconvenience. I was moved to another room, but I was unable to sleep afterward due to concern about additional rodents.
