"My mom and I considered ourselves lucky to get to be hosted by such a considerate host. The house was cozy with lots of thoughtful touches. We definitely say again. Excellent value for the price."

That may be expedia’s fault in picking up on the wrong info about the property. The breakfast is only instant coffee , some fruits and super basic pastry. Which would have been just fine if it was clearer when booking "

"Great place for an overnight stay or two. Easy to find ample parking either on street or to the rear of the property. Great little place, decent clean and well kept. Room was comfortable and slept well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and easy check in and out."

"The snug was immaculate however we were unable to regulate the heating. In spite of turning all visible controls off, the heat was unbearable to the point we had to open the door at 4am."

"Fantastic stay. Stayed many times in a snug pod for business maybe 15 times a year. Tried a cabin for first time because the price was cheaper than normal. Amazing, shame its too expensive to do more often. Only downside was the wifi was hit and miss but overall very good"

"We booked this hotel due to the dog friendly room and the spa. However the furnishings in the room were dirty and stained (large stains on curtains and pillows) the shower was surrounded by mould and the doorway was bumped and chipped. The spa was dirty throughout both in the changing rooms and the swimming pool area, mosaic tiles were missing and dirty water with hairs in was pooling on even surfaces. After our first visit we did not return. Breakfast was average with little fruit, yoghurt or...

"You get what you pay for. Showers were not clean, mold growing in silicone and grout. Needed a good clean or bleach! I turned the “waterfall faucet” on and the water completely missed the sink and ran directly onto the floor (because of the design and miniature sized space saving sink). Messy chaos to deal with. Room heater didn’t work or have instructions. Outside, car park and grounds were dirty and didn’t feel safe. Staff were nice."

"This was the best place we have ever stayed. One of the owners of this converted bank building greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. The room and property were top notch. The location is amazing. There is so much to see here. Literally in direct sight of the Linlithgow Palace and church. An absolute dream of a place to stay. We cannot wait to come back!
