"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "A brilliant stay. Such a warm welcome from the girls on reception - their energy was great! Food menus were fantastic, a lot of choice and every dish was a decent portion, fresh tasting and delicious. We had 3 dinners and 2 breakfasts in the Diner so tried quite a few things. Parking super easy, found a space easily every day. The room was basic, but spotless clean. Our only issue was lack of air conditioning/no windows that opened, so was a little stuffy on the first night we stayed. After this the weather cooled down so not really a problem. Incredible shower! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this chain again. "

"Not the 1st time I've stayed in this hotel, and it never disappoints. Whether a standard room or a club one, they are always clean and comfortable. Staff are always friendly and efficient. The amenities are also fab (bar, restaurant, coffee bar, pool, sauna, etc). Across their free car park, there is lots of entertainment that u don't need to go central for (restaurants, bar, hollywood bowl, cinema). Plus 5mins walk there is an Asda shopping area incl shops and a pub. Taxi to the centre is 10 minutes and also not far from the motorway. We will be back again"
