One night stopover

Spacious and clean family room. Good shower. Excellent location for a stopover, not far from the autobahn. Set in town centre which is pretty. Local places to eat and has a restaurant on site. Good breakfast included and secure on site parking. Will definitely stay again.

A nice stop-over

I booked the hotel but booked it for the wrong day, a day early. The hotel called me and asked when I would arrive and because I messed up my booking was told that they would just change it from "tonight to tomorrow night," which I though was very nice of them. The room was inexpensive, so quite basic but good enough for a night.

The property gives you the essentials: a clean room and the basics for a short stay. There is no AC, but it was a cool summer day, so no issues. . Also, the elevator only goes to the second floor, so you have to take the stairs to the third floor. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and a handful restaurants and stores located in walking distance.

This hotel is NOT a smoke-free property! The Hotel Evabrunnern is terrible. It does NOT have air conditioning. Our room was on the third floor and we had to keep window open to try to keep the room livable, but people were smoking outside on the roof top. I complained, and we changed to a smaller room with courtyard access saying "usually people don't smoke there." Within minutes of entering the room, people were talking loudly outside (23:00 hours) and then an older German woman, who didn't speak any English, decided to smoke right next to our window. I went to complain again, but the receptionist said they can't change our room and smokers are allow to be in a courtyard. All night we didn't have good rest, sleeping in hot room with smoke. The next morning at 07:00 another German woman decided to smoke in the courtyard outside our window. Open window meant BIG BUGS in the room! The hotel needs serious renovation; it is run down with old furniture and carpet, and dirty tiles in the shower. No drinking water or a kettle is provided in the room. The towels were HORRIBLE! They felt like they were made of sandpaper. The breakfast area was very crowed, have to constantly ask for hot water to make tea. The juice and other food ran pout quickly and replenishment took some time. The two servers were doing a poor job, and there was only one SLOW coffee maker for 20 people. It was constantly running out of water and milk. The food was very limited, and there were no pastries!

Alles gut- sauberes und sehr geräumiges Zimmer. Minuspunkt gibt's für fehlende Trittdämmung, sodass man vom Nachbarn oben drüber früh regelrecht aus dem Schlaf gerissen wurde.

Empfehlenswerte Wahl für Bischofswerda

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist kein Luxus-/ Metropolenhotel. Aber das erwartet man in Bischofswerda bestimmt auch nicht. Man schläft super, die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Aber hier arbeiten Menschen mit guter Laune und Engagement. Was geht, wird möglich gemacht. Auf der Suche nach Verpflegung braucht man nicht auf eines der hiesigen Bistros ausweichen. Im hoteleignen Restaurant mit eher Gaststubencharakter findet man abwechslungsreiche Speisen in sehr guter Hausmacherqualität.

Ein schönes Hotel aber die Zimmer liegen in verschiedenen Gebäuden und man muss viele Treppen hoch und runter, für uns kein Problem aber wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, sollte hier nicht übernachten. Frühstück ganz prima und reichhaltig.

Schönes Altstadthotel direkt am Marktplatz

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Marktplatz. Großer Parkplatz im Innenhof. Geräumige Zimmer, teilweise mit Blick auf Marktplatz. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Personal sehr freundlich.

Zimmer war sehr schön, groß und sauber, dass Bad war etwas sehr klein gerade die Ecke wo das WC war. Die Betten etwas zu weich ( es versteht sich von selbst,das man nicht für jeden Gast die passende Matratze haben kann ). Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Was mich im Hotel sehr gestört hat war dieser Geruch von den Abflüssen der sich im ganzen Haus verteilt hat auch im Bad im Zimmer da sollte unbedingt was da gegen getan werden.
