"We checked in, the owner or manager at the desk was very friendly, we got to our room and floor in our room was kind of like tile but the pattern you can't really tell if the floor was clean, however I could see mop marks and it didn't feel clean so after swimming of course we tracked some water in, so I got a towel to dry the floor and of course you just throw the towel down, and clean up the water and it was so dirty on the towel .. "If you're looking for a private and cozy place to stay in Ruidoso, this is definitely the place! The cabins are very private and perfectly located, with grocery stores, restaurants, and other attractions just a short drive away. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was fully equipped with dishes, a grill, microwave, oven, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and much more. They really thought of everything, so there was never a need to ask for...

"It was clean and remodeled in a safe location. It is across from a previously flooded area that is not cleaned up yet but that wasn’t too bad. Check in time was later as there was a change in owner. It was easy to find."

"The property is so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was cozy. On the rustic side, which is fine. The staff, Amanda, were very helpful. The cabin itself is dusty with lots of cobwebs. It just needs a dusting!"

"The Whitetail cabin was a great stay. The selling point is the location. Walkable to food/drinks/shopping. It’s also a short drive to the casino or Grindstone lake. The staff were great when checking in/out. I’ll definitely look to see if we can stay here again in the future."
