We loved this hotel. Excellent room that was very quiet. The breakfast was a huge buffet with cold and hot items. They had 3 egg dishes, sausages, bacon, cheeses, meats, fruits, vegetables, cereal, lots of bread and pastries. The breakfast was very filling and kept us going until the afternoon pinxios Highly recommend the Barcelo Bilbao Nervion

The renovation only covered the public areas — the lobby, the bar and the restaurant look great. The rooms are a different story. They are quite worn: old furniture, some of it broken, plumbing that doesn't work properly, poor ventilation, and cleaning could be better. The staff, though, are willing to help and do what they can to make your stay more comfortable. Breakfast is very good, and the location is excellent.
