"Great resort with big lawn and walking path. The overlook hotel is decent and the bar has great cocktails. Pet friendly rooms are also well maintained and there's no residue pet smell. Good option if you want to enjoy the weather and have a laid back time. The pool was closed when we were there"
"Hotel Arras Asheville exceeded expectations. The hotel is stunning, modern, and upscale with very high ceilings in both the lobby and rooms, making everything feel far more luxurious than a typical hotel stay. My room had beautiful mountain views, and waking up to that scenery every morning was amazing. The blackout curtains also worked extremely well and made sleeping very comfortable.
The customer service was excellent and exactly what I expect from the Kimpton brand. The staff accommodated us during a busy wedding weekend and stayed very responsive throughout our visit. I especially appreciated the text messaging system that allowed direct communication with hotel staff and management to make sure everything was going well.
The location is perfect — right downtown Asheville within walking distance of the square, restaurants, shopping, and several popular eateries. We also discovered the hotel is very dog friendly. We met many guests traveling with dogs during our stay, so if you travel with pets, you will absolutely love this place.
The valet service was excellent, especially the texting system to request your vehicle. Parking is expensive, but that is expected downtown. The restaurant downstairs was phenomenal for both breakfast and Mother’s Day brunch.
My only suggestion would be complimentary bottled water in the rooms instead of only downstairs in the lobby. Overall, highly recommended and I would absolutely stay here again."
"Such a great hotel! We were able to walk to almost all of downtown from the hotel! Breakfast was a complimentary buffet with an omelette station and everything was delicious, staff were all so nice and friendly. Hotel was very clean and looks to have been recently updated. Valet is available, but we didn’t use it. Will definitely stay here again!"
"This was a great location on our way through Maggie Valley. The outdoor area and live band on a Saturday night was a perfect way for us to end our day. The staff in the location was great. Would definitely stay again."
"Had a little trouble seeing their sign from the street but once we found it everything went well.
Check in and staff were very good and got us in our room a little early."
