"I enjoy this place, it was built in 1849 as the name of the place. The room is simple, with 1 window, 1 fan, 1 table lamp, no TV. However, there is a common area with Books, TV, Table Tennis, Board Games, etc There is also a common kitchen with all the pot and pans. The best of all, free Pancakes for breakfast. "Such a beautiful spot, very quiet & great facilities. Beds were super comfy. Amazing cheese & wine on arrival was a lovely touch & the communication from the property managers brilliant. Views were fabulous! Only negatives were a lack of a couple of basic kitchen items, a bathroom door that would just not stay shut & very hit & miss wifi. "Lovely place in the country (on a farm), but just 20 minutes from Denmark or Albany. Sonia is a lovely host and the area is just beautiful. The chalet is spacious, well equipped and has a toasty wood heater for winter stays. Very happy guests!"
