"The staff was not helpful as far as transfer to another room. I understand the hotel was fully booked but they insisted that we empty the room early before 12 the following day. We have stayed in many hotels, and had never experienced what the receptionist (all of them) insisted. The check in time is 3 pm and all we were asking was for us to move at 12pm since we have pre booked a tour of the city from 9-12 noon."

"We stayed in a mansion suite which was amazing. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a delicious welcome box of Belgian chocolates waiting for us upon arrival. The buffet breakfast was incredible with options for every type of diet and a beautiful dining room. The spa was a lovely way to end the day. The location was ideal, quiet yet walkable distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel for couples. It may be a little less appealing...

"Nice hotel, clean and well located on the edge of the city right beside the main train and bus stations for those wishing to use public transport, we used a hire car as we wished to explore Ypres and the surrounding WW1 museums etc at our own leisure, car parking was very easy as the hotel sits on the same site as the stations car park and is only €8 per night. "This place is an absolute jewel! We stayed here for 4 nights and it was our base to travel around. We had 2 larger rooms that were connected and it was well worth it! Luxurious rooms, impeccably clean and beautifully appointed! The location is central to everything and Sofi our hostess was crème de la crème! She is kind, welcoming, warm, caring and makes the best breakfasts! We LOVED this place and you will not be disappointed! 😎👏👏👏"
