"Fabulous walkable location with lake swimming access, hot tub, and views of Lake Como from our balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with great views. And we had a great dinner in the restaurant one night. Bellano is a lovely town with a beautiful promenade that is less crowded than the larger touristy towns on the lake, but a short walk to ferry if you want to visit other towns."

"The view is totally stunning! The pool was rather cool at 8pm partly because the property is out of the sun. It's a lovely pool though and we had it to ourselves. The accommodation is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staff are helpful by message. Would recommend especially as a place to explore the lake by ferry. The roads nearby are pretty busy in July and narrow!"

"We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."
