"This is definitely not a "resort" - the description was very misleading. It's this weird place where individual people own the "units" and the front office organizes stays. The front office wanted personal information which I was not comfortable sharing- they are probably going to spam me with sales calls forevermore. The floor in my unit was utterly disgusting- black sticky stuff that made the bottom of my white slippers black. All of the units face a parking lot, and there is nothing...

"The property is beautiful and location is great. Rooms were clean and very nice. Very simple mattress (topper) and pillow upgrade would greatly improve the stay. Also wifi did not work well at all."

"The television-related technology was totally messed up and, despite my personal appeals, were never resolved. My room was never cleaned!! The hotel management blamed "an Expedia glitch". I demanded a refund and hwas virtually dismissed. Now, I am left to only tell everyone I know planning to visit coastal Maine to never stay, a waste of good money, at the Kennebunk Hampton Inn."

"Check-in was a little problematic since the office closed at 5, but we finally got confirmation through Expedia about getting someone to contact us about checking in after hours. Room was clean. Washing machine did not cooperate, and after an hour of trying different settings, we finally got a full cycle to work. It would have been nice if they had a kitchen sponge, laundry detergent, and glass cleaner or other type of cleaner to keep the kitchen tidy. Other than that, the kitchen is fairly...

"The property is a refurbished inn from the 1600- 1700 time period. It has about 25 rooms in the center of Kennebunk and very walkable to services, dining and shops. Because of its age, one can hear a lot of noise/activity inside and out, but the property does know this and offers ear plugs and eye masks for its guests. Nicely kept historic inn for this 250th birthday of the USA!"
