"Hotel Hirsch is a beautiful, traditional hotel, with an excellent restaurant. It is lovingly decorated. It has a rooftop viewing area with tables. It has a steam-heated warming rack for towels or clothes, too. It's near the old town or alte Stadt."

"The choices at breakfast are outstanding! We enjoyed all the normal breakfast treats and also omelettes, fresh baked pancakes with fresh fruit and cream. Best of all, Prosecco- what a treat. We were set for the day. The staff gave us boxes to carry out rolls we’d made for our lunch 😋as if we needed lunch!
Can’t fault it.
Room was clean and had a little balcony which was lovely in the morning for our coffee. Staff were super helpful and friendly. I only wish I’d had more time to look at all the beautiful things to buy in the cabinets- gorgeous pieces of jewellery, gifts and more.

"This was an amazing hotel with some of the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The hotel on its own is in a great location, well maintained, and clean rooms. The food is outstanding (breakfast and dinner) and is always busy but the staff handle it beautifully and the business does not effect the attention you'll receive. We absolutely loved staying here. "Everything was superb and we stayed in the Jagerhaus but everywhere was stunning. Breakfast was amazing. Parking was separate and plentiful. Walking to the castles were a breeze but know you have to climb up the mountain side or take a horse carriage. Spa was fantastic with pool sauna massage outdoor area. So much more."

"The hotel was beyond beautiful and in a stunning location. The rooms are very clean and cosy - with a well stocked bar.
The spa, sauna, steam room and both indoor and outdoor pools are stunning and super clean.
The outdoor was lovely and warm due to it being heated.
The staff go above and beyond to make your stay an excellent experience - they are incredibly friendly, professional and welcoming!
Dinner each night in the restaurant was of an extremely high standard with impeccable service - their breakfast was of the same impeccable standard.
I cannot recommend this place enough - it is a truly amazing hotel with incredible views of the lake and mountains. I will most definitely be returning again to this beautiful place.
