When this is combined with the love for nature that the host Mary shares with you and staying in one of the shepherds huts all conditions for a perfect stay are there. Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris."

"Parking was a bit difficult due to an event going on that evening but we prevailed, the Hotel was older but in Great Condition, the rooms were fantastic. Staff were accommodating and the Pub was open late "
