"This Royal Surakarta is overrated. The photos of the rooms i booked were totally different from the rooms i got. When you walk in the first thought is wow this is great, again the maintenance on the room was very little. The air-conditioning controller didn't work and the room temperature was bearly comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel. "
"Saya menginap di Hotel Bintang Solo dalam acara Wisuda di UNS, kondisi hotel kurang terawat, kelihatan sudah lama, tempat tidur, kasur, sprei kurang bersih, shower seadanya air muncrat kemana2 walaupun untuk air lumayan bersih, handuk sangat kumal terpaksa dipakai karena tidak bawa serep..nilai lebihnya ada pada lokasinya, sangat dekat dengan kampus sehingga tidak terburu2 untuk mendatangi acara ..."

"Impressive heritage decor and artefacts layered upon a modern construction that is airy. Spacious room and feature swimming pool. Easy rickshaw distance to both palaces and to batik museum. Good value. Best nights’s sleep with high quality towels etc… Staff all very helpful. "
