"This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "We stayed here for 5 nights in a room with private pool. The room was of high standards, clean and elegant, and the pool and outdoor area perfect for relaxing in privacy. The property in general was beautiful and well maintained. Food was good and the breakfast buffet left little to wish for. The offer of paying €120 pp per day for lunch and dinner is not worth it, though, even though the restaurants are quite expensive. Overall a very nice stay and we highly recommend this hotel."

"Can’t fault this hotel. Very clean, staff were lovely and the pool are was wonderful. Our room wasn’t the most modern but bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Fruit at breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Short 5/10 min stroll into Taormina town. Perfect location and the bus terminal is just out the back of the hotel which is really handy. Close to the cable car to go down to Isola Bella too. We had a wonderful day and Pizzichella beach, with cheap sunbeds!"
