"Grounds are immaculate. Great view of the bush/river. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. Manager was fantastic. Good location (7 mins from New Plymouth by car). Quiet, safe. Can bike safely to New Plymouth ( sidewalk to round about on state highway 3 then side street with on road cycle path). Restaurant with yummy food on site. Things that could be better: Had only one BBQ so you need to reserve it in advance. Great stay and definitely a place I would go back. "

"Had the ocean view cabin for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The view was amazing from the rear deck and waking up to that view in the morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The front desk gave me a bath bomb to use in the deck bathtub and it was a highlight of my stay! The bed was very comfortable and the dressing gowns were a nice touch of luxury. Would definitely stay again."

It had everything in it but it just didn't feel like a hotel. And the big clinch was having to wipe number twos off the toilet seat. This is unacceptable. "Great location, literally across the road from the architectural marvel, the Govett Brewster gallery and just a few minutes walk to the waterfront, the Len Lye Wind Wand and the Puke Ariki Museum. Lots of restaurants and cafes just a short stroll away. The studio units are quite small and have minimal kitchen facilities if that matters (it didn’t to me), but they have all the essentials.
