"What impressed me the most is I felt safe staying here as a solo traveler. Quiet location and close to the airport. My bed was super comfortable with high quality bedding. Overall it is a very nice hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it as a family hotel. It looks more suited for business/adult stay. "

"Property was amazing! The staff went beyond for me after leaving my swimsuits and Stanley cup (gift from my kids) back on the Mainland. They did everything possible to make sure I got them back! Pool and beach view was amazing! Food was delicious! I can’t remember the bartender name but she is a young melanin skinned pretty young lady. She made the first best impression my first night there! She definitely needs recognition!"

"The staff at the Tropical Palace were excellent. There were a few issues with our room that were addressed quickly, although the problems weren’t always resolved. If you are thrifty in your travels, this accommodation is OK."

"Overall, we had an amazing stay! It felt like the perfect location, with everything being a short distance away. The restaurant in the hotel was the highlight! The food was absolutely amazing—some of the best food on the island. We had a nice oceanfront view from our room. I loved having a gallon of water in the room as a heavy water drinker. We loved our room even though it had a few imperfections, such as chipping on the bed frame. The TV in the master bedroom was not set up for viewing; it would stay stuck on the “source or Wi‑Fi connection” page. Housekeeping could have done a better job. For instance, they never restocked the toilet paper, and we had to call the front desk twice for more. Then, apparently, a pipe burst and shut off the water service for about 5–7 hours. I understand things happen, but we weren’t given a heads-up or notice until there was no water coming to the room."
