"The food in the bar was nice, the check in staff were polite and helpful and the room was spacious and a good sized sink and shower. Disappointingly the tv only had one terrestrial channel and no Sky or digital channels (the hotel in Maastricht had loads including BBC1 and BBC2) and there were only two small pillows on a very large bed. The location was geographically really good - right opposite the railway station (Gare du Midi) but its not the most salubrious - not the hotel’s fault."

"The room was clean and staff were really friendly and helpful! Stayed for 4 nights and could not make a complaint about any of them. The hotel is close to the centre and right next to the metro. The only issue we had was with the city itself, however that is no fault of the hotel and it’s staff. I would be wary if travelling solo as a women or with just other women, even though the town was easily accessible and a quick walk, we had many issues with catcalling and harassment from men. This happened every day, multiple times. I would stay wary of this, as we weren’t expecting that, especially when the area around the hotel did not appear to be dodgy or shady."

"Clean rooms and beautiful common areas. I did not eat at the hotel but I enjoyed the on site bar. Close to several restaurants and a great park that has an outdoor bar. I walked to the central areas in about 30 minutes but buses and trams are nearby. Would stay here again."

"Great location with a short walk from both the Grand Place, which is the heart of Brussels and from Brussels Central station. The hotel has a classy appearance and the lobby and communal facilities are impressive. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, room and bed were comfortable."

"The location couldn’t be beat (central to everything), the room was clean and spacious, and the property had so many nice conveniences (beer garden, self-service espresso bar, restaurants, etc). The staff members were all fluent in English, which I was impressed and surprised by! If we visit Bruges again, we will definitely stay here."

"The hotel is extremely well placed for access into Brugge. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable, the reason we marked it down was because there are electrical wires Which had been joined together, but didn’t look safe"
