Hands down the worst hotel experience I have had in Lebanon. If you are thinking of staying here, do not. Go to 1866 down the street instead. You cannot even enjoy a simple coffee on the rooftop because it is not part of the hotel even though it literally is. Just another way to squeeze more money out of you. Most mornings no one was even up there which was the whole reason I wanted to have my coffee there. The only positives were the woman at the front desk and the assistant manager, both kind and professional. He genuinely tried to make things right and even insisted the cleaning staff give me fresh towels. He was respectful and looked honestly disgusted when I showed him the photos of how bad the room conditions were. Neither of them are to blame. The problem is ownership and upper management who clearly have no standards or training. When I ran out of toilet paper after the room was supposedly cleaned, I opened the drawers under the sink hoping to find some and instead found two Zara shopping bags filled with garbage from the previous guests. On my last day I had to go back downstairs again just to ask for clean towels. The cleaning lady literally handed me one that was dirty. When I called her out, she grabbed a clean one instead but I watched her quietly put that same dirty towel back on the rack to give to the next guest. Why not just throw it away.
