"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. "A very nice property in a quiet location. Ideal for a complete getaway, with plenty of interesting places to visit not far away. Debbie is a lovely host, very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend Woodstock Retreat. "
