"Great place to stay "

"It was under renovation we weren't told anything about it during booking, they had stuff everywhere and had the door to the rooms wide open and anyone could walk in and go to a floor. The keys didn’t work and we had to keep going down to get them fixed. The door WOULD NOT lock and lock was BROKEN and we requested a new room and the new room was dirty with trash left behind. The bathrooms looked so dirty and hair all over. They did not have a breakfast station so in over to enjoy breakfast we had to walk over to the next hotel and eat there. Highly disappointing, we will never stay here, we booked for four days and we cancelled right away. Staff was helpful to get a refund. Also you don’t have a good ocean view. "

"Buyer beware. While the location is excellent, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The atmosphere felt chaotic and poorly managed, with a rowdy clientele that made the property feel more like a budget motel than a high-end resort. This is not a family-friendly environment—I did not feel comfortable using the pool, and noise was a constant issue throughout the stay. The mattress offered no real support, as every spring could be felt. I had to contact staff multiple times due to disturbances, including a continuously barking dog and loud neighbors, one of whom made aggressive verbal threats. For a property at this price point, the experience was unacceptable."

"This hotel has different problems and only one person to help, who was more than excellent , Mr. DiMarcus, a young man who changed my room, because the heather was not working at all. Also, the new room had a coffee maker not working, but the young man was not working in that moment."

"This hotel has a great location on Galveston Island. The Pleasure Pier is almost right across the street. There is a great restaurant and bar next door. The room was spacious and clean and even had a small balcony and a view of the beach! All of this and the price didn't break our bank. We will definitely stay there again."
