"The hotel was okay, but for the price I did expect more. We stayed for 8 nights and there was no housekeeping or restocking at any point during our stay. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were nice, but they are running a swim school in the pool and the entire pool is not available for use at all times. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were also nice. "The Beach Club Resort has a lot going for it. The location is truly excellent — right on a beautiful stretch of beach and close to everything you might want to access in Parksville. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the overall setting makes it easy to enjoy the area without needing to drive anywhere. That said, there were a few surprising drawbacks. The pool area has no seating for parents who aren’t in the water with their kids, which made supervising from the deck...

"It was clean and well maintained. We had a great stay! The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They even gave my son popcorn, which was a lovely surprise and made his day. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We would be happy to stay here again!"

"Questionnaire ,mis-leading- no amenities for where I stayed and if so,nobody informed me. Had to go to reception for toilet paper no back up supplies under the counter. No utensils which was truly disappointing because it was recommended to by Chinese at Quailty foods who also had no utensils."

"What I like most is walking out on my patio and going straight to the beach. The tide cycle was perfect for our visit and a lovely stroll along the boardwalk led us to the Sandcastle festival displays. This was my fourth visit and this hotel has evolved with updated rooms and amenities inside and out. We will be back.!"

"Very clean and recently renovated property. We got the last room on the property and it was supposed to be ocean view though it was more like restaurant view where diners could see us and us then and there was a sliver of ocean behind that and the parking lot. We were not there for the view though and the food was excellent at the restaurant and staff were great. Would stay again"

"It's too bad we weren't told about the water beetles that come out from the baseboards when it rains. It was horrible. You had to have shoes on all the time because there were so many crawling around. If we'd have known we wouldn't have stayed there."
