"This is an historic hotel and doesnโt appear to have been updated since its founding. The room was tiny and the bathroom poorly appointed with no where to put your things. It was hard to even move around the bed without stubbing your toe or raking your leg on the bed frame! Itโs a shame as it could have been a lovely hotel! The speakeasy pub on the other hand was quite good - so stop for dinner but donโt stay there"

"5 night stay. Comphy bed and well stocked with pillows, towels and essentials. Quiet lovely surrounding grounds. Easy check in and departure. Close to route 11 for the yard crawl and things to do!"

"We've stayed at various rentals at Chalet High four times now. All the units are older. They're not fancy. But they've always been clean and everything's always worked fine. The kitchens are better stocked with cookware than many rentals as well, which we appreciate. I believe all, or at least most, of the rentals have dishwashers, wash machines, and driers in the units, which is a huge plus for us."
