"It was bitterly cold… And I was delayed by wintry weather in Manchester Airport and arrived much later than expected… The hotel staff responded by email to my email telling them that I would be late… And had prepared my room with an oil filled radiator pumping away at 24 C when I arrived….wonderful service …for which many thanks to the courteous and considerate staff."

"We stayed for three nights in total, and everything from start to finish was fantastic, from the pick-up and warm welcome to the beautiful fresh breakfasts, great coffees, and well-stocked fridge of drink (with an honesty box). "We just stayed one night and it was in a great location. It was right across from the medieval fortress. My room was very nice and clean. I had some trouble with the heat and patio door, but the receptionist attended to the matter immediately and solved the issue. We enjoyed the lounge area to meet with family and enjoyed cocktails and a snack. La maison est grande et spacieuse, la chambre magnifique avec un lit très confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la quiétude du lieu... Le soir nous avons eu le plaisir de nous joindre à la table d'hôte concoctée maison avec une grande majorité de produits bio...
