"The lady who checked me in was lovely, and very helpful. The room had a newish kitchen and a fairly updated bathroom. However, there were stains on the carpet (one very large one), the curtains over the front door and the ranchslider were missing hooks (which are so easy and cheap to replace) so hung down untidily and looked pretty bad. The roller blind in the kitchen was so worn out and in serious need of replacement. Skirting boards in the main room were badly scuffed. The bed and linen were perfect. "

"Accommodation and customer service was excellent. The information and photos describe this lodge perfectly. The room was very clean and beds perfectly made and bed linen perfect something that is difficult to find in Whanganui. I had a seperate room and my mother had the main room, was really good for privacy. Highly recommend Aotea Lodge handy location to shops and city centre. I will be booking in again next time I am in town. Thanks Aotea."
