"Beautiful grounds, iconic hotel and attentive staff. "

"The site makes this place look decent. I was looking for Best Western vibes. And got motel 6 quality but worse. Everything was dirty. The shower had stains. The Kleenex holder was so dirty I was afraid to grab a tissue from there. The bathroom floors were stained with dirt. I actually contracted a skin fungal infection that my doctor said most likely came from pillows and or bedding. The moment I checked in I regretted the booking. The skin infection has spread all over my face and had to get it treated. This is the worse hotel I’ve ever experienced and do not recommend it to anyone. Please go somewhere else. This hotel is crusty musty. Also I smiled at one of the house keepers and she looked at me up and down. Like really? "

"Historic hotel in the heart of Pasadena. It was our second time staying there. We enjoyed it. "

"Fairly convenient location for us since we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Disney, and very close to WB Studios. Parking is a good deal for $25/night. First room was not clean (hairs in sink and shower floor, strange sticky liquid spots on floor) so we needed to switch rooms. TP is ROUGH and hard to reach. No place to store clothing except for a closet rod so we just left our suitcases open on the couch. Window shade not installed well so light does come through at the pillow level. Can get noisy if you’re on the rail side of the property . Staff was friendly and quick to replace towels, etc. Overall a good value for the price. "

"The property is in a great location, a bit dated and the first room we stayed in had some maintenance issues such as a sticky bathroom door and a little noisy. We checked out and spent a night in San Diego. When we returned we got a much better room higher up in the building. It had good views and no sticky bathroom door 👍"

"Hot Tub was meh, staff were extremely nice and helped us out a ton. Facility was well cleaned by the staff as well and overall it was a pleasant experience."
