"Beautiful place overlooking the bay. Welcoming staff, lovely food. Perfect for chilling out on the veranda with a glass of something cold watching the sun go down. Breakfast was delicious too"

"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"The hotel is decent, but it is far too expensive for what you get. We paid £195 for one night for three guests, including breakfast, and it was not worth the price. The biggest problem was the room. It was unbearably hot, and the only thing provided was a small fan, which did almost nothing to cool it down. Our room faced east, but the window could barely be opened, leaving almost no ventilation. The room felt like an oven. We spoke to the manager about how hot the room was, but our concerns...

"The accommodation itself was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, the building itself needed a bit of care in places but because this is a community owned building the money is needed for other things like the rooms which have been done. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. "I was pleasantly surprised by the superb location and views. Everything about my one night stay was impeccable with a possible question mark over parking. I was lucky finding a parking space on the promenade but in season it might be a problem. "

"An amazing, interesting house which you will love, especially if you have a sense of history, and enjoy staying in a place that is different from all the rest. Our room was clean, cosy and warm with a lovely view of the garden and of the countryside. The breakfast looked and tasted very good. We hope to return in the near future as we had such a lovely time."
