"The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. "

"The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. Our tent butler, Juma, was a special delight. The nightly dining under the stars was so special and the meals were excellent. We recommend it to anyone wanting a tented experience with great comfort and pampering."

"Horrible service. Did not stay due to a missed flight and poor communication with the property. Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. When I contacted them about missing my flight they had the audacity to inform me that I "only booked for 1 person" which contradicted my many emails and the hotels.com booking for 1 room with 2 adults. Decided to cut ties and stay at a much nicer hotel in Arusha instead of further dealing with...

"We had an amazing time in the Serengeti. Beyond the breath-taking Safari, our stay at Anantaya was top-tier, and made the whole experience next to none! Beautiful scenery and animals all within view. Staff is knowledgeable and create a safe environment. Accommodations were above our expectations; luxury tents are spacious and well appointed better than most luxury hotels. Our butler Suddy was such a pleasure; kind, patient, funny, and a great dancer! lol. Dining was a delicious fusion of traditional dishes - endless compliments to the chef!! Thank you to all the staff for making our time there so wonderful! "

The entire staff was incredibly friendly—more like family than hotel staff. The location itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Serengeti. The resort facilities are top-notch. The tents are beautifully decorated and furnished, offering comfort while blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. We had amazing close encounters with zebras just outside our tents, and at night, we could hear lions roaring nearby—an unforgettable and thrilling experience. Ommairi, the manager, was outstanding and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our safari guide, Steven, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and a true expert in wildlife. His open safari vehicle was especially perfect for photography, giving us clear, unobstructed views. We were sent off with more singing and dancing, which was a lovely and emotional farewell. The only thing we would recommend adding is a small air heater for the very cold nights and early mornings in July. Aside from that, everything was truly exceptional."
