Stayed here with my group of friends and it was amazing. The staff were all super friendly and they assisted with calling us a taxi big enough for us all, every time we needed. The property was always quiet and clean. The breakfast was great and the bar food upstairs was great as well. Will definitely stay again when I return to Barcelona

This stay was an extension of a tour my wife and I were on and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was VERY pleasant and helpful. They were quick to offer suggestions for eateries and shopping with directions.

Great hotel at a reasonable price for Barcelona. The only issue would be that it’s not central. However good tram link with station a short walk away and is walkable to other areas but will take some time. Close to the Westfield shopping centre.

weekend stay at Labtwentytwo

Excellent hotel. Front desk staff were very nice and also helpful with our early check-ins on both of our stays which were seperated with a cruise between. Our room was very up to date with a beautiful view of The Sagrada Familia and downtown Barcelona. Please don't dismiss the warnings about pickpockets in Barcelona. It happened to us at the Mercato on Las Ramblas. And there were two other groups of tourists filing police reports at the same time we were at the police station. But we felt very safe in the area of Barcelona this hotel is located....Poblenou. There is a grocery store, tram station, subway station, numerous bus stops (we used them all), bars, parks, coffee shops located nearby. We ate at both the breakfast downstairs and the bar upstairs and the food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel if you don't want to stay in the Gothic downtown of Barcelona.

Nice, new hotel with modern facilities. Quiet area. A little bit out of the centre but fine if you don’t mind walking. Reception staff not that friendly and requests €100 deposit per night which seems higher than average deposit.

Pretty disappointing stay. There are much better options throughout Barcelona. The location is inconvenient, as there is no real easy nearby way of getting around - very much feels off the beaten path. With the property, the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets felt like tissue paper. Decor in the room is pretty but ours and a friend that stayed there experienced a foul smell through the shower and inconsistent water temperature. The fire alarm went off all three days of our visit at odd hours. Lastly, hospitality and attention to customer service seems to be a big opportunity for this hotel.

We were a bit nervous after reading some of the recent reviews but don’t believe everything you read we had a fabulous stay! Definitely in a more residential neighbourhood not a touristy area but we enjoyed that aspect of it. Service was great were able to get an early check in which was great after a long flight! Room was clean and modern, pool bar was cute with a nice view and there was fabulous live music on Saturday night! The rooms definitely aren’t sound proof but most hotels aren’t. Overall really enjoyed our stay!!

This property has a very modern feel. The staff was very accommodating and provided good concierge services. The room itself was a little small but provided a great panoramic view from the spansive windows. The room was an accessible room, and the drawback was that the shower had long curtains, but the water would spread over the whole bathroom floor. Also, the shower curtains would smell like mildew after a shower, so we were constantly opening the room window to vent. Also, the hallway smelled unpleasantly dank for most of the week of our stay. The carpets must have been cleaned later in the week, as it smelled much better on the final day of our stay. It also would have been great to have the restaurant open for longer hours. All in all I would stay again, just in a different room.

Check-in & Staff The check-in staff was friendly, but the information about the pool could have been better. We were not informed that it was closed until we arrived, which was disappointing. Room & Cleaning We stayed on the 12th floor. The area itself was a bit dull, but the hotel was excellent. The room was well-equipped with a bathrobe, slippers, and a really good hairdryer. The shower was fresh, but adjusting the water temperature was tricky. The HUGE bed was AMAZING. The cleaning was outstanding – the housekeeping staff was very thorough and cleaned every day. Not a speck of dust was left after them. Gym & Facilities The gym was large, new, and well-equipped. It had free weights, a cable cross, barbells, treadmills, bikes, Pilates balls, and yoga mats. Towels were available, and there was a water refill station. Pool & Rooftop The pool was a bit cold and quite small, but the rooftop had an amazing atmosphere. Great music, a relaxed vibe, and a perfect place to unwind. Alcohol was served at the pool, though in plastic cups. Towels were available on-site. Location & Beach The hotel’s location was perfect, and the beach was also beautiful. Conclusion Despite a few minor issues, this was a great hotel experience. I highly recommend it!
