"We had a fabulous stay! The owner Emmanuela is friendly, gracious and super helpful. She has also great restaurant recommendations. We felt like we were staying in an art gallery. Everything was tastefully designed mixing modern art with the beautiful old world building. Location is perfect for exploring the area. Parking is bit of an issue. Campobasso is a busy city, so you will need to find paid street parking. Otherwise I do highly recommend this place for the location and charm."

"Received code to access the building from owner/manager via what's app. On arrival, entered main door and no lighting whatsoever. The entrance had a horrible smell and musty sense. Needed to turn on lights ourselves. Tried to locate our unit when the lights went out. We got the heck out of there. Not impressed at all. Expedia will be refunding us our stay. "I had the privilege of staying at La Tavernetta for 11 days this past July. It's an exceptionally well run family business where each family member contributes to the overall satisfaction of the guests. We were well received by all family members particularly Davide and Antonietta. The Hotel also has a restaurant and pool. The room was very clean and air conditioned. The pool area is very very nice. Davide is everywhere making sure that guests receive the best possible service. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. Antonietta is always present. The grounds are very well maintained. I will definitely return as we enjoyed our stay very much. My son loved it. It felt like we were visiting family. A big shout out to the Marinelli family.
