"The Casso is in an excellent downtown Raleigh location and was walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and things to do and see. The entire staff was professional and courteous and friendly. Jonathan, who checked us in and whom we saw in most of our comings and goings, was the BEST!. He always greeted us, was interested in how our day or evening had gone, and made our stay more enjoyable. We highly recommend The Casso for your stay in Raleigh."

"Called ahead of time to ask about pool. Get there and the pool was closed for renovations. Apparently when you call you dont get front deck but someone from corporate. The parking was an extra charge and across the street this was inconvenient and unexpected. The hotel was close to restaurants and very walkable. The breakfast in the morning had lots of choices and great coffee. Due to parking fees and no pool we wont return."

"When we checked in, we were given room 207. This room was on the ground floor near the lobby, and the floor to ceiling windows faced the second floor of the parking lot in the rear of the property. There were cars parked directly outside of our window. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy as it cycled on and off during the night making sleep all but impossible. "This is my second time staying at Sheraton,. It’s great hotel but when I went this time, the AC was broken. I went out thinking the temperature would go down in my room but came back to it being just as hot. Upon calling, I was told it was broken throughout the hotel apparently. They told me my stay would be comped but have not received any emails or money back."

"There is no staff on-site. Check-in and property access is via text and a code box. The code did not work for me, even with multiple attempts and variations. Once in the room, a key fob will let you get into the building with no problem. This property is a maze of short corridors and fire doors. There are elevators, but you won't know where it will take you. I walked a looong way to find my room. The stairwells are unfinished concrete. "Room smelled like smoke when we got inside so we burned an incense and got put out for smoke smell and it wasn’t even us we had our 1yr old with us . No towels in the room we had to ask front desk I also had to do some cleaning myself the bathroom wasn’t to my standards this hotel use to look way better about 2-3 years ago now after dark it looks like crackhead central lots of activity outside at night even the police were in the parking lot most of the night"

"My biggest complaint about this hotel was the fact that they have a barn door style door for the bathroom and on both sides it does not go flush with the wall and sticks out a good inch 2 inch and a half. There’s no privacy there’s not even an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We stayed for one night, the morning we were leaving we were having breakfast, which was excellent however, the fire alarm started going off Which was obviously a false alarm but they never mentioned that to anyone. "Fine stay but the hotel alarm clock went off at 6 am. All I really needed was a good night’s sleep on a pit stop during a long road trip. Got to bed late after a day of driving then got woken up on my last day of vaca at 6a. Back on the road today, tired after my stay at La Quinta. Everything else was just fine but taking the time to write this to suggest that cancelling alarm clocks should be part of the housekeeping staff’s rounds."

"Staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. The smoke Pitt in the outside common area was broken . Someone damaged outside pool, hotel couldn't fix the problem so the pool was shut down which was a HUGE inconvenience. The king suite wasn't spacious but it did have a little kitchenette and a large bathroom/shower. Hot water comes and goes so if u like lukewarm water you will be fine. Valet parking was a must bc parking in the area is scarce and hard to find. Location was nice because...
