"This was good value for money. Right in the center of Stamford, so very convenient. The room was clean, beds comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast selection was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was limited but we got a space. Very satisfied, look forward to a return visit to try out the restaurant which was closed on this visit."

"We had a standard room with a double bed with a massive en suite with walk in shower. We were on third floor no lifts as far as i could see, the stairs felt a bit dodgy in places and it felt as if they were sloping but it is a listed building. We did not use the spa services but did have a look and they appeared to be good. Not many big shops within the immediate vicinity so it would have been nice to have a little bit more information within the room"

"Booked a superior room expecting soft seating sofa or arm chairs as advertised in the photos as well as Hotel's own website (medium room). However, on arrival was given a room with just one desk chair and was told that as the room was bigger with less amenities it was still classed as a superior/medium room. This is very misleading. Overall the general service (bar and food) was poor as I don't think the staff were trained well. Also, beware the 13% service charges - not really justified by the service!"

"We stayed for one night and the hotel reception staff were so helpful, they really made our stay so easy. The room was lovely and the provision of a fan in the heat this weekend was much appreciated! We will definitely be back. Also, the layout and the way the property is maintained is gorgeous, such lovely plants made it feel really cared for and seeing the Peregrines nesting on the church opposite was the icing on the cake!"

"I live in the US and this is my second stay at the Three Swans. I like the fact it was an old coaching Inn … on booking I was not advised or asked if a room up a lot of steep stairs at the very top of the building would work for me…. I am 75 and it was hard work! The staff are generally helpful especially the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. The courtyard that runs alongside the building full of comfortable tables/chairs and many boxes of flowers is a delight. I love Market Harborough and enjoyed my stay."
