"The shepherds hut I stayed in for one night was so warm and cosy, it was like staying in a giant wendy house. I would have liked face to face contact with the host, but I guess thats a "sign of the times" Beautiful view of the countryside. "

"The service was great but we were let down by the lack of sufficient air con. We booked the 2 bedroom suite for 5 of us and we're only provided 2 fans. Staff tried to help as much as they could with the issue but we were very warm. The hotel was beautiful."

"Very nice and convenient to the cruise port. Would have been total 5 star but bathroom door didn’t close properly and exterior windows need some cleaning . Staff was awesome. A vey nice looking white tablecloth restaurant on site and walkable to the waterfront which has lots of dining and shops. A very enjoyable stay, highly recommended."

"Breakfast was excellent and hot the puddings were delicious lovely staff helpful and smiling. Only one thing it would be nice to have tissues in the rooms and toilets. The swimming pool was lovely but it could do with the door open in hot season. It was far too hot but the pool it self was lovely and warm. Great hotel would love to come back. Well done to everyone involved in working there."

"Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice clean rooms, which had fridge, safe, ironing board/iron and air conditioning. The Air conditioning was a life saver with the heat wave. Position was central to everything. Would stay there again."

"We literally can't wait to go back. The location is absolutely perfect, the pool is awesome and the staff really lovely. The only thing that detracts is the 4pm check in which they seem to stick to, very rigidly. (Though our visit was during the heatwave of June so understandable if the rooms were taking longer to get ready). The cottage we stayed in was gorgeous and the complimentary minibar a lovely touch."
