"The hotell is very nice. The staff were all friendly, the breakfast was hot and good and the room comfortable and clean. The only mark against them is the entry to the hotel. There were hundreds of cigarette butts lying in the gutter by the sidewalk at the front entry. Something that could be swept up in a few minutes. It gives the wrong first impression of being a 1 or 2 star hotel instead of the 3 or 3.5 star that it is. I still recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."

"The hotel is conveniently located about a 10 minute shuttle ride away from Edinburgh Airport. It was clean and quiet. Staff were very accommodating. While my flight was too early to take advantage of the complete breakfast bar, the selections available were good. Food in the restaurant was also good. "

I reported the problem with the sink the following day, but was told that it may not get fixed as the hotel was undergoing a full renovation in a few weeks. I fully understand that the owners don't want to spend money when they are ripping out old rooms AND I was offered a room change, but decided not to take it.
