"The family room was ideal for our little family of three.... It's an older building, but so well maintained and the room was spotless. We appreciated the two fans in our room as it got hot and a bit stuffy at night.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful, plus the garden patio was lovely to sit in and have a drink.
Would definitely stay again, but there were a couple of not so good points... I personally didn't enjoy the breakfast and thought it was a bit lacking (no fruit, yoghurt, pastries) and a little greasy. My partner didn't mind it though. And on the Saturday evening, there was a jazz band on and we could hear it in our room. Luckily we were very tired though, so didn't affect our sleep, but worth noting if staying on a weekend."
"The snacks in the reception are ALL high in sugar.
To use the hairdryer it needs to be pressed down at all times which is very frustrating. A simple on and off switch much more practical and makes it easier to use for people with joint issues.
Shampoo is kindly supplied maybe it would be possible to supply a little conditioner!?
The staff is super friendly and
helpful 🌼🌼"
"The room was clean but had a damp smell. Noticed water marks on some of the walls. The staff were excellent and helpful with any queries we had. Breakfast was great and the parking facilities were well lit and secure."
"Generally, had a lovely family break at this hotel. lovely and helpful staff, good variety of breakfast choices. No matter who you spoke too, night staff, day staff, staff at the fitness/spa centre, they were all very courteous and paid attention to our needs/queries and met them
On discovering our room's air-condition was not working in the 1st night, they were apologetic and quickly got us fans that night as it past midnight and swapped our rooms early the next day.
Kids enjoyed swimming while we enjoyed the hottub and sauna"
"We just used the hotel to sleep. Pretty well located for our needs (the rugby). Clean, tidy, well maintained. Buffet style breakfast ok. It did its job."
