The accommodation was supremely comfortable, the breakfast was superb and the hosts were wonderfully welcoming. Storrs Gate House is only a short and pleasant stroll from the centre of Bowness but far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. Altogether top notch. Highly recommended. "

"This was a lovely spot for my stay in Windermere. Very convenient to the train station and bus stop, as well as pubs and restaurants. My room was comfortable and roomy with a full bath, including tub, and a beautiful view of the fells when the weather was clear. Anita and Denis are great hosts - warm and welcoming.
