"We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago so booked again for 2 nights before a cruise. The hotel was mostly clean, though the rooms were a bit worn. There was no shampoo in the shower and not enough towels. Staff did assist when asked to supply the needed items promptly. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They allowed us a late check out for a late port arrival time which was so appreciated. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming with very little choices the first morning, but there was...

"Our room had someone else’s hair products and empty McDonalds rubbish.
When we checked in we asked for a late check out of 1 extra hour and was told by the staff on duty that they could give us 12 no problem.

We then needed help getting a transfer to our...

"The bed was clean. But the floor was very dirty, full of sand, and even a prior guest “3–pack” tag on the floor of the closet. I should have researched LaQuinta more as I didn’t realize it’s a budget motel and relied too much on the Expedia guest ratings."
