While the Radisson Collection Bamako remains the best hotel in the city, it has it's issues. Not their fault, but the ongoing power cuts are a hassle, especially when in an elevator. There was a leak from the ceiling in the restaurant. The carpets are starting to show signs of wear and stains from past guests. The staff do their best and are friendly and helpful though.

Hotel runs a scam show. When we went to breakfast the lady advised it was free. We asked 3 times. After we finished another lady gave us a bill for $60. We spoke to the front desk and he wouldn’t help. They also have very strong security and they refused to let us leave the hotel until we paid. We ended up paying 1/2 the bill and we disputed with our credit card and got the other half of the money back after we explained what occurred. Avoid Mali and avoid this hotel.

Superb hotel. Exceptional service, especially by Donke who manages the dining room for the evening buffet, very friendly and great food. Coulibaly, a server in the evening buffet, is excellent. The servers at the morning breakfast are very good too. Djibril and Yeo at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Taoule, a security guard is very good too. My room was very nice and spacious. The gym is great, I used it every day. Beautiful lobby and very nice pool too.

The hotel was nice and room was clean and adequate. The restaurant staff could be more helpful and the breakfast food could definitely improve. The pool area was too dark at night n9t friendly enough for guests to try and enjoy.

My stay was good but the policy of the hotel not to allow yellow taxicab in the compound is not only bad but a kind of discrimination. Yellow taxicabs are the official taxis in Bamako and they are easily recognized. There should be no reason why a taxi can't drop off a client because it's painted yellow. This policy must be changed.

House keeping didnt put coffee and sope until i complain. The food at the buffet was really bellow any standard even for 3 stars hotel. The beef was very bad . I really dont like to complain if things are reasonable. But feel that i must report the food issue .
