I booked this hotel from Thursday October 2nd through Wednesday October 8th. The Hotel room was dirty with a stained, carpet and odor. The toilet would not stop running so we requested another room. When we moved to the second room, there was a cockroach. We tried a third room, and it was no better. We called Expedia, and they recommended we let the hotel know and to leave and they would work on a refund for us. We spoke with the hotel before leaving and they understood why we were leaving. We left and went to an alternate hotel for the night while Expedia worked on our refund. A week later I got an email from Expedia saying that they were unable to refund $580.11 for what would have been my 6 night stay because the hotel did not accept their refund request.
So at this point I am out $580.11.Sonesta ES Suites Baltimore BWI, should have honored this request considering they knew what we went through and the poor conditions of the rooms. It is very hard to reach this hotel on the phone, which makes it an even worse. experience trying to reach them. I'm very unhappy about this experience. I do not recommend anyone to go through this experience like I did. I will be calling their corporate office this week to try to get a resolution.
