"The room was super clean, other than the nail and ball of loo paper in the bottom of the shower. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We arrived after hours and were given all the information we needed to check in, the whole process was good. The restaurant was still serving food as well, have to say the calamari was delicious.
In the morning on check out, which was 10am, a knock on the door came at 9:30 and the cleaner said "sorry I am early". Now i know we could have said no, but she stood there so expectantly like we had no option and to be honest we were packed up almost ready to go so it wasn't an issue; but if check out is 10am then they really shouldn't be knocking before that and it's a minor complaint."

"The stand in manager booked us in well and was very helpful and friendly. The room was very large and had everything we needed. When we went to cook our food on the first evening we found that the pan and colander were still dirty. There was an old bottle behind the fridge which had not been picked up and there was dust behind the units so this was a bit of a down side. We told the manager and she said she would keep an eye on it. Overall we had a good stay in Hervey Bay with everything on our doorstep. Shops and bars etc. The pool area was lovely. Pool was lovely and warm.
The motel could definitely do with a bit of tender loving care and could be really nice."

"Staff were so kind and accommodating. Upon seeing our group make up, they recommended a bigger room so that we’d be more comfortable. This is directly across from the beach. There was laundry on site, which was very helpful during our overnight and we were able to walk to go eat. "
